Dr. Bhattacharya is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist who has been in practice for more than 30 years and has been in Moline for more than a decade. He earned his MD degree at the University of Chicago and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of San Francisco in 1988. Dr. Bhattacharya has published multiple clinical papers and also co-edited a textbook on endoscopic ultrasounds. His particular areas of interest include colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and various forms of liver disease.
In his free time, Dr. Bhattacharya is a software/hardware engineer and writes software. He is also doing his best to be a gourmet cook.
